KonaRed® Unveils New Line of Single Serve Cups Featuring Its Rich, Premium Kona Blend Coffee


Carlsbad, Calif. (July 30th, 2018) – KonaRed®, maker of premium Hawaiian coffee products, today announced the debut of its new line of Single Serve Cups, compatible with at-home single cup coffee brewers. The initial launch features KonaRed’s Kona Blend Coffee, a handcrafted recipe of USA-grown Fancy Kona coffee beans and carefully selected South American beans.


“While Single-Serve and pods have been around for a while now, we noticed that there aren’t a lot of premium Kona coffee options in the single serve cup market,” said Kyle Redfield, CEO at KonaRed. “We’ve seen a lot of incredible growth over the past year with our Cold Brew Coffee line, but we wanted to make sure we continue to innovate around the coffee beans and coffee itself. Single serve cups were the perfect way to find a new way to offer our delicious, small-batch roasted coffee to families and busy professionals who don’t have time in the morning to go through all of the usual steps of preparing coffee.”


KonaRed’s new Single Serve Cups are naturally gluten free, vegan, non-gmo, and dairy free. Sold in 12-count boxes at an SRP of $12.99, the roasts include:

  • Medium Roast: A smooth, light-bodied coffee with a mellow flavor and caramel and nutty notes.
  • Dark Roast: A rich, full-bodied coffee with a bold flavor and chocolate, nutty notes.


For all of its premium Kona coffee products, KonaRed partners closely with local farmers on the Big Island in Hawaii to harvest coffee beans at peak ripeness. Traceability, sustainability, and functionality have always been key guiding pillars for how the company sources its coffee beans and cascara. Once picked, the coffee beans are then small-batch roasted in KonaRed’s own facility by an experienced, professional Coffee Roaster with state of the art equipment.
